General Terms and Conditions

1. Scope of Application

These General Terms and Conditions apply to registration for and participation in the International Masterclasses Vaduz. By registering, participants agree to these General Terms and Conditions.

 

2. Registration

Registration for the masterclasses takes place online via the Muvac platform. Admission of active participants to a course is at the sole artistic discretion of the respective instructor. There is no legal entitlement to active participation in a masterclass.
Participants who are unable to attend the masterclass for its entire duration must notify the International Masterclasses Vaduz in writing at the time of registration. Even in the case of shortened participation, the full participation fee must be paid.
If the minimum number of participants for a masterclass is not reached, the International Masterclasses Vaduz reserve the right to reduce the number of teaching days. In such cases, however, all participants will still receive the full number of teaching units.
If a masterclass does not take place, the full participation fee will be refunded in full.

 

3. Participation and Registration Fee

The participation fees for the masterclasses offered can be found on the website of the International Masterclasses Vaduz.

 

4. Terms of Payment

The full participation fee must be paid by bank transfer. All expenses and fees for international transfers shall be borne exclusively by the participant.

 

5. Withdrawal

In the event of written withdrawal before 1 June of the respective year, an administration fee of CHF 170 will be retained; the remaining participation fee will be refunded after deduction of all transaction costs.

In the case of written withdrawal, an international bank account must be provided, including BIC and IBAN, as well as the name of the account holder and the address of the bank.

A refund of the participation fee in the event of withdrawal after 1 June of the respective year is only possible in justified exceptional cases, in particular in cases of force majeure. In such cases, withdrawal must be submitted in writing no later than the start of the course.
In the event of withdrawal after the beginning of the booked masterclass, the full participation fee will be retained, even in cases of force majeure.

 

6. Course Confirmation
 

Active students of the International Masterclasses Vaduz will receive confirmation of participation at the end of the masterclass.

 

7. Accommodation
 

The International Masterclasses Vaduz provide participants with free accommodation at the Schaan-Vaduz Youth Hostel, including breakfast. If a participant wishes to make use of this offer, they are required to indicate this when registering.

 

8. Photo, Video and Audio Recordings
 

The International Masterclasses Vaduz reserve the right to make appropriate photo, video and audio recordings and to publish them without further consent from the participants. No entitlement to compensation shall arise from this.

 

9. Data Protection
 

For the purpose of processing registration and participation, the International Masterclasses Vaduz collect personal data from participants. All personal data will be treated confidentially.
By bindingly registering for the masterclasses, the participant consents to the use and electronic processing of their personal data by the International Masterclasses Vaduz for the fulfilment of their tasks, in particular for the organisation and implementation of the booked course.
The data required for the administration of the masterclasses will be stored and, within this framework, made available to the respective instructors.

 

10. Liability

Participation in the International Masterclasses Vaduz is at the participant’s own risk. The participant shall be liable for any damage caused by them.
Liability of the International Masterclasses Vaduz for damages is excluded unless such damage is caused by intent or gross negligence. This applies in particular in the event that an event has to be cancelled.

 

11. Insurance

All participants in the International Masterclasses Vaduz must have valid health, accident and liability insurance.
The organiser accepts no liability whatsoever for accidents or theft of any kind, damage to or loss of personal belongings.

 

12. Applicable Law and Place of Jurisdiction

The exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from or in connection with the course offerings shall be the registered office of the International Masterclasses Vaduz, Liechtenstein.
Contracts concluded with the International Masterclasses Vaduz shall be governed by the law of Liechtenstein.
